Concept Art- Dungeons and Dragons

Software: Adobe Photoshop I was involved in various projects at Abertay University. Surrounded by dedicated and passionate creatives who just want to create and have fun. I had the pleasure of working with a group of creatives who had a neat idea for a Dungeons and Dragons inspired video game. To help bring the idea to life, I created a few sketches and concept art for them.

Equality Cats- Character creation collaboration

Software: Adobe Photoshop Occasionally, when Fife Centre for Equalities requires digital illustrations for their project, I gladly offer my graphic design and digital art skills. Since 2017, I have worked remotely as a Freelance Artist/Designer. I started this project by collaboratively help re-design and polish character designs initial sketched up by children. In 2020, I also created a series of illustrations for the charitable organisation and their community to help raise awareness on COVID-19.

Serious Game Jam - Lab Practice - UI

Software: Adobe Photoshop, Unity 3D Lab Practice is a video game I have worked on for a Serious Game Jam of three days within a team of four. I was the User Interface artist. I did create 3D assets as well as special effects for our first prototype however.

3D and Animated Design- Bullet Train

Software: Autodesk Maya, Arnold Renderer I was assigned an “oceanic community” (New York/Boston) and given strict design requirements for a futuristic Bullet Train design. Inspired by the Harlem Renaissance movement, I decided to include elements of Jazz/Swing music instruments. My goal was to create a very sleek design for New York with dark metallic purples, gold accents and neon lights.

3D Edinburgh Inspired Buildings

Software: Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk Maya For my final undergraduate project at Abertay University in Dundee, I developed a video game titled “IKIGAI”. The game explored the impact of culture shock in a person’s life. To create the virtual environment in the game, I took inspiration from my surroundings. After studying a few buildings in Edinburgh, I recreated them in Autodesk Maya in a low poly art style with flat colours.

Character Art- Terrible Teddy

Software: Autodesk Maya, Photoshop, Unity3D Terrible Teddy is a project I worked on as a Game Artist within a team of Game Designers and Programmers. This project dates back to 2016/2017, before Virtual Reality was released to the market for the general public. My team was tasked with creating a fun, experimental third person video game using the Play Station VR. As the “Lead” Artist, I created the Art Style Guide Document, Visual development documents (Mood boards, Inspirations), Character Art, User Interface, in collaboration with my team mates I also discussed lighting within the game engine and the overall layout of the 3D modelled Furniture and game assets.

Software: Adobe Photoshop One of my modules at the University of Edinburgh was focused on creating Graphic Designs for futuristic currency, bank cards and travel cards. This module worked hand in hand with the strict design brief I was given for the 3D futuristic Bullet Train. I was assigned an “oceanic community” (New York/Boston); My classmates and I were designing these for a submerged futuristic world where most of our natural environments have been lost due to disastrous climate conditions.

Lunaria Prototype Concepts

Software: Adobe Photoshop In 2017, for the Abertay Challenge internship, I was tasked with creating User Interface mock-ups, layouts and concept art for various ideas. I worked as part of a team, as an artist and designer (For the creation of 2D & 3D assets)

Nadur- User Interface

Software: Autodesk Maya, Photoshop, Unity3D Nadur is my final master’s project. So a lot of work has gone into it. Essentially, it is a video game which aims to raise awareness about the disconnection from nature experienced by people in a technology driven world. There were a lot of creative constraints, this video game has been created in a very short amount of time and I am very happy with how it turned out.

Software: Adobe Photoshop During my Master’s I was teamed up and tasked with creating illustrations for a Creative dynamic Website. I really enjoyed creating characters for this module. I learned how to use HTML and CSS as well as a little bit of PHP.
